  2. The Cycle of Analysis. • There are 4 stages to the Cycle of Analysis: • Investigate. • Analyse. • Develop. • Evaluate.

  4. Investigate. • This is when you collect information (DATA) about your own performance in an activity. • The data can be related to your ability to performance skills in a game, apply a strategy in a game or your level of fitness within an activity.

  5. Analyse • Looking at the data collected and identifying your strengths and weaknesses within your performance.

  6. Develop. • This is the stage where you develop a programme of work or a fitness training programme that will allow you to work on and improve the weak areas of your performance.

  7. Review. • Review your performance by collecting further information (using the same methods as before) and comparing the results to see if any improvement has occurred.
