  1. C-Plan January 2011 AEA Superintendent Meetings

  2. What is the C-Plan? The C-Plan is an effort underway at the DE to streamline the collection process of reports, data and progress for districts/schools. The hope is that the C-Plan will be a tool districts/schools can use locally, and not just for reporting and compliance to the DE.

  3. Why is the C-Plan needed? Currently, districts/schools are required to complete 10-15 plans or reports and there is overlap in the requested information. Consolidation of applications will reduce the burden, costs and time for districts/schools, AEAs and DE. This effort is in response to requests districts/schools and AEAs have made for several years for a simpler or consolidated planning/reporting process.

  4. Plans Included in the First Release of C-Plan • Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP) • Annual Progress Report (APR) • Iowa Core Implementation Plan • District Developed Service Delivery Plan (DDSDP) • Schools In Need of Assistance/Districts In Need of Assistance (SINA/DINA) Plan Additional plans will be considered for inclusion at a future date.
