Sparta Township COMMUNICATIONS Team The primary focus of the Communications Committee is to investigate, build, implement and maintain a dynamic communication strategy which will educate and engage our residents. By optimizing existing technology and implementing new functionality where possible, access to key information will be streamlined. The objective is to build systems which support collaborative efforts between Sparta Township and our residents. Current Membership: Mary Coe, Marianne Dilworth, Lynn Scott, Lauren Scott, Michael Dempsey, Mike Dempsey Jr., Dawn Corbo, Matt Munro, Steven Levinson (Township Manager) and Councilwoman Christine Quinn (Chairperson)

Sparta Township COMMUNICATIONS Team 2013 COMMUNICATIONS Team Accomplishments Include: First Annual Sparta Township Photo Contest Evaluation and Recommendation of “Honeywell” Implementation to Township Administration Creation of “Community Corner” eNewsletter (Two Volumes Posted in 2013) Complete Review and Re-Vamp of Sparta Township Website and Related Files “Council in the Classroom” – Initiative to Bring Council Members Into Local Classrooms Creation of Sparta Youth Council Review and Refresh of Sparta Township Social Media Site in Facebook Vendor Review(s) – Vidoovy, Nixle Expanded Usage of On-Line Information Gathering Tools (Survey Monkey)
