  2. What is the Hands-On-Training (HOT) Program? The 88th RSCprovides quality logistics MOS Sustainment Training to Army Reservists and logistics skill refresher training for Army Civilians on a regional basis. The 88th RSC utilizes AMSAs and ECSs located throughout our area of responsibility to provide “Real-World” Maintenanceand Supply Sustainment training. All HOT training opportunities will be loaded on the Army Training Requirements and Resource System (ATRRS) using school code 930B or 930C for easy scheduling and resourcing. Training is documented on a DA Form 5165R How do I participate in the Program? Contact an 88th RSC HOT Coordinator or an AMSA/ECS Supervisor. Today’s Army ReserveThe Army Reserve has a role that requires us to deploy and get into the fight much quicker than ever before. This is accomplished using the “train-alert-deploy” model that greatly reduces Post-Mobilization timeframes. The latchkey to the success of this model is an Army Reserve that is tactically and technically well trained before the Alert Phase. As always we depend on the individual Soldier’s skills to assure our ability to execute our doctrinal missions. To accomplish this feat we require new and innovative approaches to training. The answer is HOT. • Training Opportunities • 88th RSC AMSA & ECS Sites offer soldiers opportunities to perform in their MOS with a skilled and knowledgeable Military Technician by their side. The most common training opportunities are with Wheeled and Tracked Vehicles, Ground Power, Engineer Equipment, Weapons Repair and also Automated Supply Specialist missions.
