  3. Three categories of environment ethics The Libertarian extension: The concept of individual rights is extended to all non-human animals and possibly inanimate entities. This means that all individual entities should be given the right to an uninterrupted freedom existence. Ecological extension: Emphasis is not placed upon individual rights but upon the interrelatedness of all entities in the geophysical structure of the planet and their essential diversity. Conservation Ethics: Emphasis is placed upon ecological conservation for the benefit of human kind. The environment has an instrumental value in which it is not seen as as end in itself, but a means of gaining pleasure and profit.

  4. Human behavior towards environment An integral part of the tourism as a system is tourist and local people. The behavior of both groups will be highly influential in determining the extent to which the consequences of tourism upon non-human world are either negative and positive. The behavior of tourist to the culture of the destination they are visiting will also be influential in determining whether tourism is viewed as a positive or negative force for change by local people.
