  3. The War Begins September 1, 1939: Germany attacks Poland, marks the start of WWII September 3, 1939: Great Britain and France declare war on Germany

  4. April 1940: Capture Denmark and Norway Germany soldiers march into Norway

  5. France is Invaded May 1940: Attack Netherlands and Belgium (between Germany and France) Attack Ardennes (between France and Belgium) and started to march towards Paris June 22, 1940: France surrenders to Germany

  6. Battle of Britain: August to October 1940: Germany sends aircraft across the English Channel to attack Britain, specifically their Royal Airforce (RAF)
