  7. Work Permits All students under the age of 18 who work outside of the home are required to secure a work permit 14-15 yr. old can work a maximum of 3 hours when school is in session. No earlier than 7am and no later than 7pm 16-17 yr. old daily maximum 4 hours on school days. 5am-10pm

Types of Financial Aid • Grants and scholarships - may be need based or merit based and don’t have to be repaid. • Loans – money you borrow that must be repaid • Work study – Money for college that you earn • “Cash for College” Financial Aid Workshop at CVHS Jan/Feb • FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) online at www.fafsa.ed.gov . Seniors file between January 1, 2014 and March 2, 2014. • CAL-GRANTS – CVHS will file gpa verifications electronically.
