Honors Credit • The University of North Carolina General Administration and the North Carolina Community College System Office govern weighting of college courses. • Career and College Promise students in any pathway (College Transfer and Career & Technical education) who complete a community college course that is listed on the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement (CAA) shall receive one extra quality point (honors-level weighting) for that course. Drop and Add • Add Classes - Classes can be added at any point in the registration cycle from the beginning of the published registration period through the first 2 weekdays of the term or session. • Drop Classes - Classes can be dropped through the 10% date of the class and will not appear on the student's record. Withdrawal • WITHDRAWAL INFORMATION: • When a student determines that he/she will be unable to complete courses in which he/she is currently enrolled, it is the student’s responsibility to initiate procedures leading to a formal withdrawal in order to avoid a failing grade. To receive a “W” grade, a student must withdraw before the first 35% of the class. To find the 35% withdrawal deadline date for your class, check the online syllabus or talk with your instructor. • YOU MUST NOTIFY MS. Early Release, Signing Out and Your CPCC ID Card • Taking three 3 hours classes – 8:45 • Taking two 3 hour classes – 10:21 • Taking one 3 hour class – 12:39 • Taking one 2 hour and one 1 hour class – 12:39 • Sign out every day in the attendance office, even on days when you don’t have class – • 10 minutes to leave campus • Must have CPCC ID card available at all times

CPCC Final Exam Procedures • Final Exam may not be at your scheduled class time Thursday, December 5 – Wednesday, December 11 For and excused absence: Bring in a note prior to the exam Name, ID number, Name of class Date and time of exam Signed by your parents Submit to the attendance secretary Online exam – can take at any time
