  3. Legal Framework Laws: ♦ Law on Railways Regulations: ♦ Regulation on stimulus measures in order to promote combined transport ♦ Regulation oncombined transport to and from combined transport terminals located at the rail network

Strategic Framework • The Plan for Railway, Road, Water, Air and Intermodal Transport Development in the RS 2015-2020 • General (Master) Plan of transport development in RS between 2009 and 2027 • Multilateral and bilateral agreements and strategic plans of the RS with the neighbouring countries

  5. Construction of intermodal terminal in Belgrade ♦ Project documentation was completed by EU funds ♦ Estimated value of the investment on the basis of Preliminary Design – EUR 20.75 million ♦ Financial agreement was signed in December 2016 ♦ Project is expected to start in 2018

  6. Project of railway tracks reconstruction for the purpose of creation of container terminal at the railway station Belgrade MY Container terminal Makis (ZIT) ♦ Preparation of project documentation for the reconstruction of railway tracks was finished ♦ Estimated value of investment is EUR 9.5 million ♦ Funds for realization of this project are not provided ♦ Currently in area of Belgrade MY is the company ”Railway Integrated Transport’’ which have a infrastructure capacity for container terminal

Commodity-Transport Center Belgrade ♦Project documentation was completed by EU funds ♦ Planned to be located between the Belgrade Marshalling Station and Obrenovac road ♦ 23,4 km of track will be constructed ♦ General project and Previous Feasibility Study was designed ♦ Future steps: preparation of Detailed Regulation Plan

Development of Logistic Centers ♦ Logistics centers of international / regional character will be developed at the multimodal Corridor X and Corridor VII, in large regional economic hubs such as Belgrade, Nis and Novi Sad ♦ Logistics centers of national / local character will be developed in the areas of regional economy centers

Activities of local governments to build logistics centers ♦ Intense activity of local government and launched initiatives for the development and construction of logistics centers and terminals: • The logistics center City of Backa Palanka • Trimodal logistics center on the Danube in City of Smederevo • The logistics center in City of Pirot • The logistics center in City of Apatin • The logistics center City of Sabac

  10. Expansion of Capacities of the Terminal for dry bulk and General Cargo of the Smederevo port Estimated cost of the works on Port construction: EUR 80 million Estimated cost of the construction of port infrastructure: EUR 40 million and it will be financed by the Republic of Serbia

  11. Construction of the New Port in Belgrade Estimated cost of the first Project phase: EUR 343 million (this amount covers designing and construction of the entire port infrastructure and suprastructure in the area of 120 ha)

  12. Construction of the Port of Apatin Estimated Project cost: EUR 36 million Estimated cost of port infrastructure construction: EUR 16 million and this shall be a commitment of the Republic of Serbia
