How to generate reports To build a KPI for Business Analyzer, consider the following: • Determine the final KPI that you plan to develop to support a specific need. • Determine which roles within a company will use the KPI. • Build a SQL view (or use base tables) that contains data for the report. • Create the Detail report and the Summary report. • Create the KPI by using SSRS Report Builder, consuming the same SQL View that the summary and detail reports used, if possible
