  1. H How SaaS Subscription S ow SaaS Subscription Software is helping oftware is helping Businesses W Businesses Worldwide? orldwide? Software as a Service (SaaS) is a software distribution model that allows businesses, as a user, to access the software from any device with the help of the internet. This gives businesses more flexibility to work and manage business tasks since they do not have to necessarily come to the office to use their software, but will be able to work from anywhere having an internet connection. On contrary to a traditional software setup where software is stored locally, SaaS subscription software is hosted in the cloud, eliminating the need for businesses to buy new hardware and as a result spending more money on its maintenance. One more commendable part about SaaS is, by transferring software hosting to a third party, businesses are also outsourcing all their responsibilities that come along with the maintenance of the software such as upgrades and troubleshooting.

  2. Another factor that sets SaaS subscription software apart from using conventional on premises software is licensing. With on-premises, business organizations is supposed to purchase a license and pay its annual support fees accordingly. While on the other hand with SaaS, business organizations just pay a monthly or annual subscription fee that covers all of the things including licenses, support, and other fees. This is beneficial as it allows business organizations to cut out costs over time rather than purchasing licenses right away. SaaS subscription software allows businesses to pay only for the services they like to use for their businesses while keeping cost containment. Moreover while using SaaS businesses do not have to worry about data breach. Why? Because when a business outsource their software to a SaaS vendor, they are most likely to sign a service level contract also referred to as SLA. This SLA ensures that the data is the property of the business organization and in any worst case scenario the SaaS vendor is indebted to provide business organization the access of their data even if they go bankrupt.
