  2. Professional Development for APAS Members • New benefit • 26 out of 156 members utilized 2012-2013 • Outcome: last contract • Participate in professional development activities • Members evaluated on participation • Such activities resourced by the university ($500.00) • Use it or lose it

  3. Professional Development Committee • Goals • Locate credible professional development activities • Seminars • Workshops • Courses / online courses • Facilitate process for members

  4. Committee Goals • Resolve membership issues in accessing the benefit • Maintain the professional development benefit for APAS members • Establish a repository • Develop a loan library

Let’s Not Lose It! • Member choices • Use professional development monies by June 30, 2014 • Attend live training • Purchase seminar/Webinar CDs and DVDs with companion materials (use at own leisure or donate to loan library) • Donate remaining funds to loan library • Develop educational plan for last quarter of this fiscal year • Develop solid plan for fiscal year 2014-2015
