  2. What’s the United Kingdom? U.K. is an arcipelago surrounded by North Atlantic Ocean, North Sea, Celtic Sea and Irish Sea. Itconsistsof fourcountries: England, Scotland, Wales and NorthernIreland.

  3. How can I get to the U.K.? I can getthere by planeor by trainthrough the Eurotunnel, by car, by coach and by ferry.

  4. What’s the weatherlike in the U.K.? Itisn'tcold, butitischangeable (rain, sun, wind, fog, sometimes in the sameday). So itisalwaysbetter to have some type of waterproof clothes and keepyourselfprepared!

  7. SNOWDONIA-ENGLAND AND WALES- This National Park is a greatplacefor walking, climbing and skiing. Thereis a famouslegendaboutit: a cave full of sleeping soldiers. King Arthur, their leader, isasleep on a thronenearby. He hasgothissword, Excalibur,inhishand. A group of kinghtsisasleepat a round table. The cave is full of goldcoins. King Arthur and hisarmyhavebeenasleep for a thousandyears . Theystill are waiting for someone to find the cave and wakethem up !

  8. THE LAKE DISTRICT-ENGLAND- The Lake Districtis England'smountainousregion, located in the north west of the country. Itisaround 700 squarekilometres and includes the CumbrianMountains, with beautiful lakes and falls, paradise for walkers and climbers. Here you can alsovisit the National Park, with beaches and rockytidepools.

  9. THE CLIFFS OF DOVER-English Channel- Thesehigh chalkcliffs look out onto the English Channel, givigfar-reachingviewstoward the French coast. The best way to see the cliffsisto take a walkalong the coastalpathtowads South ForelandLighthouse. You'llget a greatview of the cliffsand alsosee the chalkgrasslandthat's home to so manyunsualplants and insects, like the chalkhill blue butterfly and the piramidalorchid.

  11. Whataboutpeople in the U.K.? They are British and theyspeak English, Welsh and Scottish. And what do theyeat?

  12. FOOD for EVER TRADITIONAL BREAKFAST: Salted bacon, scrumbledeggs, friedsausages, beans. When the turistsgo to hotels, theyeat a traditional English Breakfast. They don't eatmilk and cereals. Lunch: many people eatsalad or a sandwich, a baked potato, beans or toast. Snack: theyare verypopular in Britain. People eatchocolate, sweets and biscuits Dinner: itismeat or fish and vegetables, dessert or pudding.
