  1. Routes to becoming CMI Chartered Manager Attaining CMI Chartered Manager status means that you have proved your recent workplace attainments and how influentially you apply your management skills to deliver positive, satisfactory business results. We have provided below the routes so that you can choose and start your journey to become a Chartered Manager today. Routes to CMI Chartered Manager status: CMI currently provides three routes to attaining a Chartered credential. The route you choose is dependent on your qualification and management experience. If you are unsure which category is perfect for you, hire a CMI application expert and ask them. Now, let’s know all the three routes:

  2. 1.CMI Fast Track: You can use this route providing that you hold: A CMI Diploma qualification, which is at level 5 or above and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role How to register? You have to contact the team via cmg@managers.org.uk for registration and for an invoice to be given to you. What’s the cost and what is involved? The route builds on completing your CMI Diploma qualification and offers a fast-track assessment process considering your prior learning with CMI. It will cost you £130 + VAT with membership fees where applicable. What paper you will be required to submit: Complete and submit for assessment with CMI’s application template. 2.Full Assessment: You can use this route providing that: Either you have a degree level qualification that is management, business, or leadership focused and 3 years of experience in a management role. Or a minimum of 5 years of management experience that is equivalent to Level 5 or operational/senior management level (if you don’t have a management-specific qualification). How to register? Reach the team via cmgr@managers.org.uk for registration and for an invoice to be offered to you. What is involved and how much does it fetch? You have to capture details of your recent attainments/positive results. After that, you will work with an evaluator to complete the assessment review. You can pick between a Professional Discussion assessment or a Written Submission assessment. It will cost you £540+VAT or £855+VAT and membership fees where applicable The paperwork you need to submit: Complete and submit CMI’s application template for assessment, which is dependent on your picked method.

  3. 3.Apprenticeship EPA & Chartered Status: You can pick this route providing that: You are completing End Point Assessment using CMI for one of these apprenticeship standards and have related management experience: Level 5 Operations/Department Manager Level 6 CMDA Level 7 SLMDA Is it compulsory to register for CMI Chartered Manager? No, you don’t need registration. How much does it fetch and what is involved? The CMI Chartered Manager evaluation criteria have been built into the CMI assessment at EPA. No extra cost or work for the apprentice. It means: If completing a CMI qualification with the apprenticeship, Chartered Manager status will automatically be given when you pass your apprenticeship. If having CMI membership support as part of your EPA package, Chartered Manager status will automatically be given when passing your apprenticeship. If completing EPA only (no membership support, no qualification) After you pass your apprenticeship, you can complete a form to claim your related Chartered status.
