  3. Agenda of Training Session • For the training Road Safety presentation was used that covers next topics: • Risks related to driving activity • 3 main rules for pedestrians • Bicyclists safety • Vehicles passengers safety • Traffic Signals • How to cross the street • Driver distraction

  4. “Ice-Breaker” Training session started from Introduction. All kids got T-Shirts with SLB logo and badges with their names.

  5. What you know about…? We asked children “What do they know about Road Safety?” And got a lot of hands-UP. Let’s see how they use those knowledge!

  6. To draw safe way from school to swimming pool Children were asked to draw safe way from school to swimming pool using simple rules for pedestrians and describe why he/she choose it. And then another kid show the way back home.

  7. Traffic signals were discussed

  8. Safety inside the car – Seat belt Using very simple experiment we wanted to show the importance of seat-belt utilization 2 egg-men were used in order to do it. One used seat belt, another did not.

  9. Safety inside the car – Seat belt Children were so exciting to check if egg-man will survive in upcoming crash-test. RESULT: Egg-man with seat belt ON stayed alive with some small cracks on body, another egg-man was completely smashed with road.

  10. Safety inside the car – Driver distraction We asked young driver to follow all our instruction, and at the end of this excise driver hold steering wheel under his armpit, fixing cell phone between head and shoulder, and switching radio channels. He found it very uncomfortable and it was very hard to drive!!!

  11. What have we learn? Using all knowledge that kids gain as a result of the training session, they have been asked to indentify all dangerous situation on the map.
