Class Rules • Be present and on time • Ready to learn 10 minutes past the hour. • If you arrive later than 10 minutes, please find your chair quickly and quietly. • Late = -.25 of your 10 points for SER Example: If you arrive late 4 times, Ser = 9. Si llegastarde 4 veces, Ser = 9. • Absences = -.5 of your 10 points for SER Example: If you are absent 2 times and are late 4 times, Ser = 8. Extra Credit • You can earn “dollars” by participating in and out of class. • Dollars can be used for absences (faltas) or being late (retardos) so you do not lose points. • $2 = falta $1 = retardo **Note: you still need to complete the work in order to earn your classwork points. • Dollars can be added to quizzes to cover errors • Quiz = $2 max; Exam = $5 max • I may take dollars away if you break any rule.
