  6. SOUTHERN COLONIES COLONIES: Virginia -Maryland -North Carolina -South Carolina -Georgia

  7. SOUTHERN COLONIES GEOGRAPHY and RESOURCES ECONOMY - agriculture -grew and exported tobacco, rice, and later cotton -very rich, fertile soil -hot climate -long growing season
