  4. 8 IDFM Districts • Final Phase with completion by January 30, 2005 • No fee waivers granted • Can contract for services beyond January 2005 • SDE LRE Grant

  5. 16 IDFM Districts • Six (6) of the original 16 IDFM districts will continue with monitoring by CSDE and are eligible for TA from SERC • Step by Step Training • Eligible for HALF fee waivers for activities in LRE book ONLY • SDE LRE Grant

  6. East Haven • Hartford • Manchester • New Britain • Stamford • Wallingford

  7. Newly Identified Districts • Seven (7) new districts have been identified for 2004 – 2005 • Step by Step Training • FULL fee waivers for activities in the LRE booklet ONLY

  8. Branford • Cheshire • Fairfield • Middletown • New Milford • Stratford • Trumbull

  9. Rural Districts • Less than 20 students with ID • 124 districts • Two sessions each: 3 – 10 students 11 – 19 students

  10. LRE Consortium • Focus on Assistive Technology • Amy Norton will be the presenter • Approx. 8 districts will be accepted

  11. Coaches Academy • Currently developing “competencies” and the curriculum • Two (2) “coaches” will be trained in each district • “instructors” • “mentors”

  12. Coaches Academy • year long graduate level course for credit • competency based • competencies demonstrated via portfolio • established from research based curriculum development

  16. TA Documentation • New Documentation System for documenting Technical Assistance and other work in IDFM districts (Greg)

  17. P.J. Annual Report • Hope to complete the section reflecting the work in the 8 (7) IDFM districts in February following the completion of our work in those districts. • May 2005…will complete the work by reflecting the beginning of our work in the 16 (6) districts etc…
