  1. Senior Registration 2012 • Senior year schedule - due February 3rd • PSEO • TRUST • Four County - Teaching Program • Honor’s Diploma • Make-up credit

Post Secondary • Attend Northwest State Community College and receive high school and college credit • Must have a 3.0 in the subject area you are planning on taking at NSCC • Intent to participate forms are due WITH your registration paper. • February 21st – Parent Meeting – 5:30 PM • You and your parents MUST attend this meeting or meet with a guidance counselor before March 30th

  3. Dual Enrollment • Pre-Calculus and Calculus with Mr. Schimmoeller at BHS • Receive 5 c.h. of math credit through Owens Community College

  4. NCAA • Students who plan on attending a Division I or II college and participating in athletes, MUST take a 16 minimum of core courses • See page 13 & 14 of Guidance Handbook for details

  8. Four County – Career Path for Teaching Profession • Senior ONLY program • 2.75 GPA • Attend BHS in the morning (4 periods) and then attend NSCC in the afternoon for teaching program • Observe/help out in another school 4 days a week; class one day • Get hands on experience in a real classroom

  12. Registration • Recommendations: • Advanced Science • AP Chemistry, AP Biology, Adv. Conservation, Adv. Physics (2 semesters) • 3rd or 4th year of a Foreign Language • Business, Art, Language arts/theatre, family life electives • Music - if you plan on auditioning for Lightshines, you must be in choir • 1 Semester - Astronomy, General Chemistry, General Physics, Zoology (Biology), Weather and Climate (Earth), and 21st Century Biology • PLEASE notice the new electives being offered in each subject area

  14. Registration • All registration forms must be signed by a parent! • Student’s will be registering for classes online; must turn in registration sheets as well • Senior registration forms are due on Friday, February 3rd!

  15. Tech Team • Must enjoy working on computers • Spend 1-2 periods a day working on computers throughout the district • Earn community service credit
