Registration preparation • Progression of continuing students 1st August – 8th August 2012 • Transfer of new applicants (RPR for unconditional, RCD for conditional) • New students can activate their IT access via thesecurity code on receipt of the welcome email • Students can select online modules from Thursday 23rdAugust 2012 • Online registration for RETURNING students available from Monday 20th August 2012 • Online registration for NEW students available from Monday 3rd September 2012 • Online registration will close for all on Friday 5thOctober 2012

Communicating with students All new students: • Sent welcome email from Admissions Returning students who are RPR: • Receive email when online registration opens 20thAugust 2012 All new students who are RPR: • Receive email when online registration opens 3rd September 2012 • Reminders on 14th September and 21st September • Registration closes at midnight on 5thOctober • Registration is closed on 8th October Only students who are RPR will receive reminders

  6. 2012/3 Online Registration • Who? • New Unconditional Home/EU: Full Time UG/PG/PGCE/ & Distance Learners/ Part Time PG/ Returning students No restrictions/off campus • New Conditional International: Full Time, Erasmus, JYA, PGCE if CRB outstanding On campus after presenting documents to Admissions and cleared to register • SITS Statuses • RPR (provisionally enrolled) able to register • RCD (conditional), RHL* (results held), RDB (debtor) unable to register A late fee of £50 is payable if students do not register within the allocated dates.

Post-Registration Processes • On Monday 8thOctober RPR status amended to “Not Registered” (RNR) • IT access withdrawn from next working day • Spreadsheets of non-registered students supplied to Colleges - any ‘No shows’ (RCD, RNR) investigated by Colleges, Admissions and Registry • Colleges are encouraged to run their Oracle report to identify non-registrations • Any special cases to be discussed direct with Registry please not the Student Information Desk (regadmin@exeter.ac.uk if by email)

Late Arrivals and International Tier 4 students • On Monday 8th October all non-registration records set to RNR (not conditional RCD records) • If the student is due to arrive after the programme start date please record the late arrival date and reason in SPR UDF • Automatic notification is sent to PBS Registry, Accommodation and PBS Admissions • Registry amend to RPR if necessary • To comply with UKBA legislation we are required to report non-enrolments within the 10 day deadline No student is reported for non-registration to the UKBA without prior consultation with the College
