A word about Legend phones… • When identifying Merlin Legend phones, there are two points to keep in mind… • 1) The manufacturer’s logo on the phones may either be AT&T, Lucent or Avaya • 2) The phone type (for example a MLX-20L) will be printed on the face of the phone… it will be located in the upper right corner OR possibly just beneath the actual handset

  4. Merlin Legend MLX 20L • This is usually used at the receptionist station. Will say “MLX-20L” here or here… this phone has a large LCD display screen

  5. Merlin Legend DSS Console This device connects to an MLX20L set (Shown here) and is usually used as a Call routing device by the receptionist

  6. Merlin Legend MLX-5 Non-display telephone Will say “MLX-5” here…

  7. Merlin Legend MLX-5 Display telephone Will say “MLX-5D” here…

  8. Merlin Legend MLX-10 Non-display telephone Will say “MLX-10” here…

  9. Merlin Legend MLX-10D Display telephone Will say “MLX-10D” here…

  10. Merlin Legend MLX-10DP Display telephone The DP stands for Data Port…this phone has an Extra jack which can be used to connect PassageWay. An MFM is required to plug in a modem or other telephonic device. Will say “MLX-10DP” here…

  13. Merlin Legend Internal Mail (007MLM) This is a module which slides into The control unit like any other Module. There is a removable IC Board… it is this board which Determines how many ports the mail Unit has. To add ports, you must Insert a new port board

  14. 400 GS/LS/TTR • Supports up to 4 central office lines which can be either • loop-start or ground-start • Provides 4 system-wide touch-tone receivers and • 1 power failure transfer port • Lines can be individually configured for loop-start or ground-start

  15. 800 GS/LS • Supports up to 8 central office lines which can be either • loop-start or ground-start • Contains 2 power failure transfer ports • Lines can be individually configured for loop-start or ground-start

  16. 800 DID • Supports up to 8 Direct Inward Dialing (DID) trunks • Compatible with all Legend software releases

  17. 008 OPT (Off Premise Telephones) • Supports up to 8 off-premise single line terminals • Primary protection may be required when supporting • off-premise stations

  18. 408 GS/LS/ATL • Supports up to 4 Central Office type lines that can be either • loop- or ground-start, or mixed • Supports up to 8 Merlin ATL Multiline voice terminals • Contains 1 power failure transfer port

  19. 012 Basic • Supports up to 12 single-line devices including • fax machines and modems • Necessary for external Voice-Mail integration such as • Intuity Audix or Messaging 2000

  20. 400 E&M TIE • Eliminates toll expenses and adds a true Private Branch Exchange • (PBX) feature-tie line support • Connects Merlin Legend System to a remote PBX or another • Merlin Legend System, allowing all calls between systems to be • handled as internal calls • Supports up to 4 tie lines

  21. 800 GS/LS ID • Supports 8 Central Office lines that can be either • loop-start or ground-start • Each loop-start line port is capable of supporting incoming • Caller ID information • Compatible with Release 3 or later

It is a cassette tape deck which takes The program and records it into digital memory… this way, the Program plays back repeatedly from the digital memory, NOT From the tape itself, increasing quality and longevity. It is Connected to either a Partner or Legend Music-on-Hold music Coupler Legend Music Coupler
