  2. Today’s Expected Outcome • Create strategic all-college objectives that relate to the strategic goals of Partnerships Curriculum

  3. Partnerships Activities in which we are engaged with entities outside of our departments.

  4. Social Work • Placements • Advisory Council • White Earth - community development projects, mental health consultation, and anti-racism training • Licensing boards • Field instructor seminars • Memberships on boards, commissions, coalitions • Courses based on community and organizational needs

  5. HPE • Student Teaching • Hosted the Fall professional conference

  6. Health Service Administration, Athletic Training, Community Health, DAPE, Coaching, Exercise Science • Internships

  7. Counseling and Student Affairs • Placements • Service to rural communities

  8. Nursing • Course sharing with other programs in order to increase program offerings. • MnSCU Nursing programs for the development of the Doctorate in Nursing Practice and the on-line Nursing Education MS. • Clinical experiences

  22. Social Work Curriculum is routinely updated to ensure competence in 12 areas. The areas that relate to curriculum include: *Apply critical thinking skills within the context of professional social work practice *Understand the value base of the profession and its ethical standards and principles *Understand the forms and mechanisms of oppression and discrimination and apply the strategies of advocacy and social change that advance social and economic justice *Apply the knowledge and skills of generalist social work practice with systems of all sizes

  23. Community Health Major • New emphasis in Dental or Allied Health recently approved

  24. Athletic Training • The education program is busy preparing for a reaccredidation. • Currently adjusting the clinical portion of the program to comply with recent changes to the guidelines of CAATE.

  25. Educational Leadership • ITV, On-line • Portfolio • Competency-based • Developmental Assessment Center for Pre-Assessment of Candidates. • Use NASSP D 21 Assessment Center for All Master Candidates. • All students present a portfolio for program completion
