Passover meal (lamb and bread) strengthen the people for the Journey to the promise land. Takes place in the month of Nisan = Abib or “month of ripe grain.” March/April Jesus the Lamb of God. Blood of Jesus assures everlasting life (death will have no hold on them. (Safety from death) Jesus the Bread of life. Jesus’ body and blood strengthen us for our journey through life on our way to heaven (Promised land.) Jesus is crucified and dies in the month of Nisan: probably April 7th.
