FY09 Key Achievements • Published Best Practices for Calculations and Leased Facility Fire Protection requirements • Created new Subgroups and Task Teams • Testing, Cognizant System Engineer Program, DOE-STD-3024, and Commercial Grade Item Dedication; • Recommending to upgrade Pressure Safety Task Team to SubGroup • Supported NNSA CVS Fire Protection team CM Kronvall/CHPRC

FY09 Key Achievements (continued) • CSE Subgroup met with DOE SSOs in 5/09 • Initiated several Fire Protection tasks e.g. benchmarking visit to FM Global • Supported HSS in the development of a new standard for design of safety instrumented systems • Completed 2 of 7 sections for a Testing Guide CM Kronvall/CHPRC

  4. FY 10 Key Achievements To Date • Initiated efforts to draft revision to DOE-STD-3024 • Held EPWOG Semi-annual meeting • Kicked-off CGD Task Team; held 2 Conference calls • CSE Subgroup meeting identified candidate Best Practices CM Kronvall/CHPRC

  5. FY10 Forecast of Activities • Complete draft CGD procedure; convert to a Best Practice • Complete draft revision to DOE-STD-3024 • Continue CSE Subgroup; Issue Best Practices related to System Health Reporting, System documentation, Trending • Continue Fire Protection tasks; identify Best Practices for publication CM Kronvall/CHPRC

  6. FY10 Forecast of Activities (continued) • Draft Implementation Guide for Pressure System Safety • Complete draft of 7 of 7 sections for a Testing Guide • Provide updated EPWOG and SubGroup/ Task Team rosters CM Kronvall/CHPRC

  7. Collaboration with other WGs • D&D • EPWOG Chair participated in 3/09 meeting • Coordinated exchange visit between ETTP and CHPRC D&D group • QA • Participated on Graded Approach Task Team • Receiving CGD documentation support • Human Capital • Indentified FPE opportunity CM Kronvall/CHPRC
