Site Update • Strategic Plan - What we want Y-12 to be in 20 years (Reduced Production Footprint) • Restart - Vital Production Processes - EUO, DUO, Product Certification • Modernization Programs • Infrastructure Reduction - Reducing the Footprint (by 500,00 ft2 by end of FY-02) - Completed: 36 structures (small structures) - FY-02: 51 structures (25 buildings to be demolished) - FY-03: 57 structures - FY-04: 23 structures

Site Update (continued) • HEU Materials Facility - CD-1 Approved: Title 1 scheduled start July 2002 • Special Materials Complex (SMC) - CD-1 Approved - AE Pro2Serve (formally Lockwood Greene) • Utilities Infrastructure Modernization Program - CD-0 expected this FY - Preconceptual studies in progress 1. Steam Plant replacement 2. Production Utilities Project (Air Systems, Potable Water, Cooling Tower, distribution)
