  1. Evaluation Question 3 What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

  2. What programs have you have you had to use while producing your product? I have had to use mainly two programs while producing my product and these are; • InDesign • Photoshop I have also used other programs such as QuickTime to record screen recordings of me producing my final product.

  3. Adding and resizing images on indesign Whilst producing my magazine I had to add images to my magazine and resize them so they fitted to my particular layout, whilst doing this I had to make sure when I was resizing my images that I did not stretch them and a way of preventing that from happening was to hold down ‘Shift’ while resizing the images. 4. Applying effects on indesign When producing my magazine I would add effects to certain areas such a text to give it a more professional look, for example on the front cover I applied effects to my cover lines to make them more bold and stand out more. This effect was called bevel and emboss. Click here to watch me applying effects on InDesign

  5. Spot healing on photoshop When editing my images on Photoshop I used A tool called the spot healing tool, this tool helps give the models skin a more smoothen look by removing the spots and making the skin look more smooth and natural. I used this tool to help make my model look more attractive and more appealing to my target audience, and it also helps give the magazine more of a professional look. 6. Using the deletion tool on photoshop When editing my images on photoshop in some pictures I had parts of the background which I wished to delete to help make the image look more professional, I did this by using the deletion tool, with the deletion tool you have to select parts of the image you wish to delete and it will delete it from the image. 7. Using the selection tool on photoshop When editing my images on Photoshop the selection tool was very handy in selecting parts of my images and posting them onto a new layer. I used this tool the most when selecting just my model in the image and posting them onto a new layer so there wouldn’t be any background image behind the model. I would then refine and smoothen the edge to make it look professional and look like the picture was shot against a white background. Click here to watch me using the selection tool on Photoshop
