  4. The universe of Aristotle is Dynamic,his world is engaged in becoming • The “Nature” of each thing is a potentiality which moves through a process of development to an actuality which is true, final and perfect.

  5. God is not the creator of the universe but the cause of its motion • A creator is a dreamer and a dreamer is a dissatisfied personality. • An imperfect creature who aims at perfection • But God is perfect and he cannot be dissatisfied or unhappy. • He is therefore not the maker but the mover of the universe.

  6. God is not interested in the world but the world is interested in God. • God is passionless ,changeless ,perfect. • He moves the world as a beloved object moves the lovers.

  7. Communism will destroy personal responsibility • What everybody owns no body cares for. • Advocates private ownership of each man’s property. • Develop a “Cooperative Disposition”.

  8. No distinction between classes • The ruling class must be vitally concerned with the education of the young. • Democracy • Happiness • Virtue • The “Golden Mean” (choosing the moderate path in all the dealings)

  9. The Ideal Man • Does not expose himself unnecessarily to danger ,but is willing in great crisis to give his life. • He takes joy in doing favors but feels shame in have favors done to him. • The doing of kind deeds is not an act of self- sacrifice but of self-preservation. • Every good deed is a profitable investment.

  10. The ideal man is altruistic because he is wise • He never feels malice and always forgets injuries • He is his own best friend because he is a good friend to others. • Believes in sincerity.
