  5. X-ray intensity measurements • We have : • Two measured values of the W K X-ray intensity given relatively to the Ig137 line • And one absolute value • Then using the formula : • I(W KX) = With I(W KX) = 6,02 (8)% (Schönfeld, 1994) PEC1 = 1,694 (25) % PK, K, T from Tables K = 0,954 (4) PEC0 = 5,83 (11) %  P0 = 70,86 (40) %

  6. X-ray intensity influence The difference between the higher and the lower value is 0.5 %, it can be noted that these values of the electron capture probabilities are of importance for some users of the decay scheme data, for example when activity measurement of a solution is made by the mean of liquid scintillation counting because the electron capture decay events are more susceptible to ionization quenching effects. This is to point out this influence and importance of some values in the result of activity measurement.
