AVOID SUGAR: Since most of the cellular aging is related to the build-up of plaque in the arteries due to unabsorbed blood sugar, we can safely avoid many health problems by reducing sugar intake. This especially includes sweetners like high fructose corn syrup but even refined sugar in general.

  3. AVOID HYDROGENATED OILS AND TRANS FATS The use of artificial sweeteners is a lot like the use of margarine and hydrogenated oils to avoid the natural fats in butter. Then, years later, they tell us that the hydrogenated oils are the worst thing in the world for us because they clog our arteries and are difficult to break down.

  4. TAKE YOUR VITAMINS Although it may seem like a basic thing that anyone would know to do, taking vitamins is not always considered appropriately. Many people are severely deficient of vitamins like B-12 because they have limited sources to naturally acquire the vitamin.

  5. TAKE GLUCOSAMINE AND CHONDROITIN If you visit a mens health website, you may find information on the benefits of glucosamine and chondroitin. These supplements are often used by people who have arthritis or other joint conditions. A few of the men’s health and fitness websites will also tell you that they are now a necessity for anyone who engages in excessive workouts or cardio training.

  6. AVOID SMOKING AND DRINKING It is easy to see the dangers of these substances. Smoking depletes the oxygen available to the body and increases the risks of cancer, heart disease, stroke, and many other ailments. Drinking is toxic to the liver and can even destroy the pancreas and cause diabetes. If you can limit your exposure to second-hand smoke, and drink in moderation at social events and no more, your body will thank you. You will hold up much better to premature aging.
