Body Language • The use of body parts is to convey inner feelings, intentions or to convey message. • It acts as an effective means of communication of the personality traits • Use BL that can be interpreted correctly by the people- • Use BL that suit the situation • Use BL to reinforce your oral communication

  8. The primary purpose of dress • To cover & protect our body in a decent manner to avoid adverse criticism • To suit the weather condition ---------------------------------------------------

Factors to consider while dressing up • Functional convenience &efficiency ( performance of his role easily & efficiently) • Social norms & customs( dress code reflects on identity ) • Organizational association( organizational norms and the rank one holds) • Religious sensitivity (Region insists the followers to put on specific forms of dresses. E.g. Covering head; growing beard; long sleeves etc.) • Dress as body language ( formal situations-fitting the occasion- job interview; meetings;)

Dressing up as per the status( designation , position, gender, dress code stipulated by the organization) • Dressing up as per the occasion ( colourful during wedding & sober & gloomy during condolence meeting) • Dress & fashion ( prevailing fashion should boost & not erode the personality image, status, and social élan of a person)
