Current projects in West Lothian…. • Disability West Lothian • Oral history archive focusing on disability in West Lothian since before WWII, 30 local volunteers and 60 school pupils to receive oral history training and interview 50 people who have experiences of disability • West Lothian Ancre Somme Association • Families of the Great War • The project involving local people and school pupils to gain an understanding of the impact of WW1 had on families in the Whitburn area using photographs, newspaper clippings, documents and letters

Previous projects in West Lothian… Welcome through Wildlife The Conservation Volunteers Worked with Syrian refugees in West Lothian to learn about wildlife and green spaces close to where they live • Life is for Livingston • Celebrating the new town of Livingston’s 50th birthday and exploring the memories of those who have lived there

Top Tips for your application • Defined beginning, middle and end • In addition to what you do already • Heritage focus which is not too wide but will enable people to get involved and participate • Talk to your community and explain the support you have for your project • Is well planned and managed • Financially realistic and demonstrates value for money • Capacity to deliver of a project of this scale
