Dates & Deadlines • Infinite Campus Registration Window * January 11 – January 16 • Plan Sheet & Request Summary Deadline * 9th Grade Plan Sheet, 5 year plan and the signed printout from Infinite Campus are due to PCH Counseling by 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16 * May also be turned in to Dr. Wells by noon on January 16

  7. Registration Evening • Wednesday, January 16, 2013 • PCH Counseling • 2:30 pm – 7:00 pm • Final Course Request Questions • Review and submit 5 year plan • Deadline for submitting plan sheet and Request Summary printout

Required Courses • English and Social Studies • Placement recommendation by high school departments • Math and Science • Placement recommendation by your current middle school teacher. • Discuss with them, have them initial plan sheet • Entered by high school counselor • Disagree with placement?

  20. Music: Band, Orchestra and Choir • Discuss level with instructor • Adjustments might be made later after final decisions and auditions • Band – if you are MARCHING, you enroll in Symphonic band 1st semester and Concert band 2nd semester. Otherwise, Concert for the entire year. Pages 38-39

  21. Alternates • Courses that will be given if first choices don’t work • If you don’t give alternates they will be chosen for you • Give plenty of choices – there are no guarantees on elective courses • Enter in Infinite Campus and on your plan sheet

  23. Once logged in, select the Registration link on the upper left. Then, select “Course Search” and type in either the course name or number in the appropriate box. Type in all or part of the name of the course you would like to request. You can also type in the course number

  24. Click on request this course, and the class will show up on your Requested Courses If a teacher has requested a class for the student, it will show up under required courses and cannot be removed.

  25. When you’re finished with your schedule, you can select “Print Request Summary” to bring up pdf view of your schedule that can be easily printed.

  26. Important… • NTI = Not Turned In • Teachers will be hired based upon your requests • It will be difficult to make changes later • Core classes scheduled FIRST - then electives • No guarantees that all requests will be satisfied • Requests for specific teachers, blocks, lunch shifts or friends will not be honored
