  1. Basic Game Requirements • Use Game Factory to produce an exciting and challenging game. • A minimum of 3 levels, each level gets increasing harder. • Create reasonably difficult levels but not impossible to master. • Use of a “Genre” of game we have studied this year • Sound effects and/or music you may use. • Hawaiian theme welcomed. • Ideas • Teach a skill, help us learn a language, learn about culture, • Create a simulation or just have fun!

  2. Page 1: Title Page • Your name • Your game title • Image of characters and some action on the slide that give the viewer a “glimpse” into your game..

  3. Page 2: Game Description • Game Scenario. In a paragraph describe the goal of the game and what it will be like to play the game • Age Appropriate. Focus on the level of difficulty for your audience. • Who will be your audience?

  4. Page 3: Game Details • What genre of game are you creating? Describe it briefly • How to play the game, • How to win, • How will you move through the levels? • Types of obstacles etc. • What features will make your game exciting and enjoyable to play? (3-D, scrolling, challenges?)

  5. Page 4: Scene Development, Use of Backgrounds. • Use your own design and/ or photos for the ideas. • Design 3 possible backgrounds using paint and place them on this slide sequentially. • Original artwork encouraged.

  6. Page 5: Avatars • Images, powers and personality. • Describe each character’s role in the game. • Describe the “powers” of individual characters or the challenges faced by players. • Include the types of characters you will use in your game on this page. • Create the Avatar and include it in the PowerPoint.

  7. Page 6: Music and Sounds • Describe each type of sound and background music that you are looking for. • Place links to your music and sound here Return this PowerPoint to Mr. Mills Subject: TRAILER
