  3. MI-Access Online System and OEAA Secure Site The MI-Access Online System is designed to : • Process teacher/student/manual counts • Assessment material orders • Track shipment history • Update coordinator information.

MI-Access Online System and OEAA Secure Site The OEAA Secure Site is designed toprocess confidential student and report information, such as: • Pre-identifying students, • Printing Pre-ID barcode labels, • Updating student demographics, • Viewing the tested roster • Accessing electronic reports and data files for schools/districts.

  19. Enter Teacher/Student/Manual Counts Manual counts should only be entered for Assessment Administrators/Teachers. District and School Coordinators will automatically receive manuals if counts are entered for their district.

  20. Enter Teacher/Student/Manual Counts Note: You will see additional charts for grades 3-8 and 11. Continue entering grade counts in charts for all grades with students participating in the assessments.

  26. View MI-Access Shipment History • Click on a specific order number to view tracking information. The link will direct your browser to the “Detailed Order View” screen. • Click on the UPS Ground tracking number to view shipping progress.

Ordering Additional Materials • Additional materials may be ordered only after initial counts have been submitted. • Before ordering additional materials, you must inventory the initial shipment of assessment materials to ensure that the proper quantities were received. • Initial shipments include a 10% overage of materials to reduce the need for additional orders.   35. OEAA Secure Site vs. MI-Access Online System • OEAA Secure Site: Pre-identify (Pre-ID) students for assessment windows. • MI-Access Online System: Submit Teacher/Student/Manual counts for assessment windows.

  36. Tested Roster: What is it and why is it important to me? • The tested roster is located at the OEAA Secure Site. • Submit research requests at the MI-Access Online System. • Make demographic updates at the OEAA Secure Site.

  37. Research Requests What happens after I submit a research request? • The staff at BETA/TASA receives and investigates the request. • Check the online system to view the progress of a research request. Once completed, the outcome of the request will be listed online.

  38. Research Requests What happens if my research request is denied or does not yield results? • The MI-Access Online System will list the request as “Research Request rejected” and will supply a reason for the rejection.

  41. Missing Student Research Request • The Missing Student Research Request screen should be used when an individual student is missing from the tested roster.

  44. View Student Research Request Screen • Use the View Student Research Request Screen to view a detailed history of Student Research Requests • The status of the Student Research Request will be updated for your records.

  46. Change Research Request Contact Information Screen • Keep the most up-to-date records for contact information regarding research requests. • If a change in responsibility occurs, be sure to update the contact information in the MI-Access Online System.

  48. Combine Student Research Request Screen • Submit a Combine Student Research Request if the tested roster displays duplicate records for a student.
