  6. Energy usetends to grow faster than GDP in poor and medium richcountries. Growth in thesecountrieswillrequire formidable increase in the useofenergy. Where is it going to come from? Unrealistic to expectmuchreducedroleof fossil fuels, unlesswe all sink back intopoverty.
