Proposed Sessions Cabin Networks - Wired and Wireless • What are today’s choices of wired and wireless distribution systems • What are the new architectures, and what benefits are claimed • What are the current Cabin Wireless Devices and their associated bandwidths • What is Micro/Pica Cell Technology, and when will it happen • How will Blue Tooth affect the cabin • Pros and Cons of Wired versus Wireless • Do airlines prefer “Non-Installed Non Certified” over “Installed and Certified” solutions Security Issues • How secure is the content and passenger information on a wireless system • What can hackers do to steal content and or break into other passenger laptops • What protection technologies exist today / tomorrow • -What security techniques are levied on network providers versus content providers

Proposed Sessions PED Regulations • What are the exact regulations and limitations of today • What testing basis do these regulations have • With so many devices coming on board, rather than stop them, can’t we work with them? • When developing new technology (i.e. how best to work together with the regulatory groups) Connecting Ground Systems to Air Systems • We have data in our ground info systems, that we want to get into the airplanes systems… how do we do it? (Explain in IT language) • What are the current paths G-A-G • What bandwidth bottlenecks do they present • -What services and be successfully/reasonably be offered over each
