2. The basics: • Location: • Lower and central America, Africa, and Southeast Asia • It is located between the tropic of Capricorn and the tropic of Cancer • Borders the savannah and temperate forest biomes. • The rainforest is home to over 50 percent of the worlds animals.

5. Plants Lianas Vine • It starts off as a small shrub that grows on the forest floor, and as it grows, it attaches itself to smaller saplings and strangles it as it ages.

7. Rafflesia The Rafflesia Flower: • Largest in the world • Many species are endangered. • Has no stems or roots • Can only be found in Southeast Asia • Has a foul odor.

8. Animals: Adaptations: Diets that are fruit oriented Camouflage and slowness help the sloth evade predators. • Bright colors • Loud vocalizations • Birds beaks are different depending on what they eat.
