  1. D0 Luminosity DB Status:Loading Production Data Elizabeth Gallas Fermilab Computing Division / D0 Computing and Analysis Group for the Luminosity Database effort within the The DØ Luminosity and DØ Database Group DØ Luminosity Meeting and DØ Database Meeting at the DØ Collaboration Meeting March 2, 2005 ElizabethGallas -- D0 Luminosity Db

  2. LumDB -- Components / Status • Database Schema/Instance (Elizabeth) • Schema stable since October 2004 • Instantiated on d0oflum1 in December 2004 temporarily on fcdfora3 until new machine arrives • DATA (Helena, Michelle) • Loaded 14 weeks (previously loaded on d0ofdev1) • Loaded 3 months (starting with the latest data – we are working our way backwards in time) • just a few ‘bad’ records to resolve • Loading next 6 months (currently making sqlldr files) • lmAccess (Luiz) - • Getting normalization from LumDB through dbserver. Working on adding needed new functionality and performance. • Operations Reports (Ana) • Working on getting report/interface to ‘production quality’ and improve performance, caching. • Group assigned QUALITY (Dan) • All interfaces converted and ready to go ! • waiting until the online data is loaded ElizabethGallas -- D0 Luminosity Db

  3. LumDB: Missing/Uncertain • waiting for the new machine/disks • machine and disks – separate orders • setup time – a few weeks for burn in • do we use export to transfer data ? • Loading existing Run 2 Data • Nearly 1 year of data is loaded • 2 (to 3) years of data to be loaded • Need more data loaded to fully assess performance of the clients • lmAccess, Operations Reports, DQ • Question for DB Support: • where will the web server for the Operations Reports reside ? • will it be on the new machine ? • Need Online program which loads data in real time ElizabethGallas -- D0 Luminosity Db
