  1. Stand Up O Men of God I Kings 18; Genesis 3

  2. I – Stand Up ASSERTIVELY

  3. I – Stand Up ASSERTIVELY • A Will to obey! • A Work to do! • A Woman to love!

  4. I – Stand Up ASSERTIVELY • For as in Adam all die… • …so in Christ, all will be made alive! • I Corinthians 15:22

  5. I – Stand Up ASSERTIVELY • Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made Himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death – even death on a cross! • Philippians 2:5 – 8

  6. II – Stand Up RESPONSIBLY

  7. II – Stand Up RESPONSIBLY • A Will to obey! • A Work to do! • A Woman to love!

  8. III – Stand Up COURAGEOUSLY

  9. III – Stand Up COURAGEOUSLY Now I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God. I Corinthians 11:3

  10. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full! John 10:10

  11. However, as it is written: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him!” I Corinthians 2:9

  12. For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come. I Timothy 4:8

  13. Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will! Romans 12:1 – 2
