    2. True Victory For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12

    3. True Victory The Meaning of Victory (1-3a). A. Love One Another (1). B. Obey God (2-3a). II. The Means of Victory (3b-5).

    4. True Victory But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. 2 Corinthians 2:14

    5. True Victory “They tie up heavy burdens and lay them on men’s shoulders, but they themselves are unwilling to move them with so much as a finger.” Matthew 23:4

    6. True Victory Jesus’ Victory: He defeated death (1 Cor 14:54-57).

    7. True Victory But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, “Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?”

    8. True Victory The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:54-57

    9. True Victory Jesus’ Victory: He defeated death (1 Cor 14:54-57). He defeated sin (Col 2:13-14).

True Victory When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Colossians 2:13-14

    11. True Victory Jesus’ Victory: He defeated death (1 Cor 14:54-57). He defeated sin (Col 2:13-14). He defeated Satan (Col 2:15).

    12. True Victory When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him. Colossians 2:15

    13. True Victory Application: Recognize your true enemy. Understand the meaning of victory. Depend upon God to provide victory.
