Tasks To Be Completed • Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among students. • Instruct through lectures, discussions, and demonstrations in one or more subjects, such as English, mathematics, or social studies. • Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests. • Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by laws, district policies, and administrative regulations. • Enforce all administration policies and rules governing students

Knowledge • To be a high school teacher you need to have the knowledge of education and training, the English language, psychology, computers and electronics, mathematics, clerical, sociology and anthropology, customer and personal service, administration and management, and public safety and security.

Why I think I am suited for this job. • I have the skills and abilities required. • I am a very well organized person and work very hard. • I love to teach people new things. • I would hold my students to a high standard and work to help them meet that standard. • I am a kind person who the students could really enjoy being taught by.

  10. Challenges/Rewards of this job The challenges of this job are: Trying to teach problem students. Grading all of the papers. Trying to help all of your students. Being organized. The rewards of this job are: Knowing that you have impacted a person’s life. Helping a person achieve in school and eventually life. Working hard and earning your pay.

Inspiring students to be life long learners. • What do think is the most important thing a teacher should strive for with his/her students? Making students feel like an integral part of learning by making them feel important and necessary. • What is the most rewarding part of being a teacher according to you? Impacting a students life positively.

I was influenced by one of my former high school teachers. • How do you try and keep your students and yourself motivated? I’ve found that I can motivate my students by treating them respectfully and positively. I am personally motivated because teaching is my calling and I want to reciprocate what was done for me.
