Amoura Carter - A High School English Teacher

Amoura Carter is a driven individual who has traveled the world in order to experience foreign cultures. After college, she worked for a news organization briefly before moving to China where she modeled, taught English, and wrote for a magazine. Upon returning to the United States, she received her Masters of Education from Lesley University in 2013, and began her teaching career. She is committed to teaching her students successfully.

  1. Amoura CarterA High School English Teacher Amoura Carter is a dedicated teacher and educator who is about to begin a new job as a high school English teacher for Garinger High School. The new position begins at the start of the school year in August, and she is proud to be a part of the program. In addition to her teaching career, she is also serving as a K-12 tutor for the local Sylvan Learning Center. Amoura Carter is a current high school English teacher who works hard for the sake of her students. She is licensed as a middle school language arts teacher, a high school language arts teacher, in curriculum and instruction, and in reading for K-12 students.

  2. Amoura Carter Dedicated to Her Students Amoura Carter is currently serving as a high school English teacher for Garinger High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. She previously worked at Ashely Park, which is a K-8 school, as the language arts teacher for the seventh grade. She is dedicated to helping her students achieve their goals in her class, and she is willing to help them every step of the way. She believes that support is essential. Amoura Carter is a dedicated individual who believes in the work she does in academia. She is currently serving as a high school English teacher in Charlotte, North Carolina, but previously worked as middle school language arts teacher. She is dedicated to helping her students succeed however she can, and she is excited to begin a new school year this fall. She is also an avid writer in her spare time.

Amoura Carter Committed to Her Career in Education Amoura Carter is committed to her career in education, especially as she begins a new chapter as a high school English teacher for Garinger High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. She previously taught at Ashley Park, which is a K-8 school, as a seventh grade language arts teacher. She believes that teaching is one of the most important careers a person can have, and she feels responsible for her students.

  4. Amoura Carter Media Experience After College Amoura Carter is currently serving as a high school English teacher for Garinger High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. After graduating from Davidson College in May of 2007, she served as a Researcher and Associate Producer Trainee for WSOC-TV Channel 9 News. She was responsible for organizing the system for the Action 9 Consumer Reports segment, developing stories for weekly noon show programs, and directing weekly news show cut-ins.
