Submission of Documents to Bureau of Human Resource Services • The following credential reviews are not preauthorized to AA: • Consideration of equivalent combinations of education and experience • Review of working-out-of-class experience • Review of non-state employee applicant credentials May 1, 2002

Submission of Documents to Bureau of Human Resource Services (continued) • BHRS will conduct credential review upon request • AA will complete Request for Credential Review (CS-153) and submit documentation to liaison team • Liaison team will conduct the reviews and complete the CS-153 form to document decisions, and return to AA to continue selection process • AA may prescreen applicants before sending requests to BHRS May 1, 2002

  11. Technical Appeal Process • Only MDCS has authority to inform applicants that they do not meet minimum qualifications for a classification • If AA wants to have applicants specifically notified that they don’t meet minimum qualifications, they shall send a request to BHRS liaison team to issue a decision, along with applicant documentation • The Decision will be subject to technical appeal May 1, 2002
