  1. Mr. Bufano and Mrs. Schulz-Nick have been having a disagreement for weeks. Mr. Bufano thinks his dog “Bella” the Yorkie is a much more popular dog breed then ”Lacey” the Lab, and “Tippy” the Border Collie.

  2. Mrs. Schulz-Nick went to Petsmart and surveyed 100 people on what their favorite breed was, below are the results: Lab 40 Votes! Yorkie 30 Votes! Border Collie 25 Votes! Pitbull 5 Votes!

Directions for Bar Graph • Make a bar graph with the information provided • x-axis must be labeled with the dog breeds • y-axis must be labeled with the number of people who voted on that breed • Make sure to label all axis and give the graph a title • The one below is an example of a bar graph

  4. Directions for Pie Chart • Next, take the same data and create a pie chart. This will require you to take the number of people for that breed and find the percentage out of 100. • Do your best to make the pie chart as accurate as you can!
