As you enter the room, please take a note card, find a seat, and put the following information on the lined side of the card: • Nickname (nothing weird, please) • Gmail address – for file sharing on GoogleDocs • Web 2.0 Tools username and password • A secret, guilty pleasure, or unique fact. (This CAN be weird, but nothing that will require me to send you to guidance. You will have to share these at some point.) • On the unlined side, clearly print first and last name.

  6. The Power of Diction Assignment Analytical Paragraph: Identify a quote, a saying, or a motto that has impacted you in some way. In an effective paragraph, explain the context of the example, what the words mean to you, and the impact the words had on your life. (10 points) Poster: Construct a poster to hang on the wall that depicts the power of the words that you select. (5 points)
