Matt Farrow Magnum Opus . DC at Night. Tenleytown Waiting for public transportation is something I had to get used to when I arrived in the city. While waiting for a bus, I wanted to take a photo that created a the strong contrast between the lighting of the city and the darkness. .

  2. Tenleytown Waiting for public transportation is something I had to get used to when I arrived in the city. While waiting for a bus, I wanted to take a photo that created a the strong contrast between the lighting of the city and the darkness.

  3. Adams Morgan My favorite part of this photo is how the lights show the drops of water glistening on the cars. It reminds me of splashing through puddles on a rainy night in DC.

  4. Georgetown A fountain by the river. I never get used to how beautiful the riverside by the Potomac can be at night.

  5. Friendship Heights I sometimes forget that there is more to DC than just skyscrapers and monuments. This photo reminds me that there is beauty around me at a smaller scale too.

  6. Chinatown DC is both peaceful and high in energy. This photo from Chinatown captures the liveliness I experienced while visiting the heart of the capital.
