  3. Word Wall • A new settlement or territory established and governed by a country in another land. (Pg. 22) • Colony • Crops such as tobacco, sugar, and cotton, raised in large quantities in order to be sold for profit. (Pg. 38) • Cash Crops

  4. Jamestown & Plymouth • While you watch the video, write all the notes you hear about the British colonies of Jamestown and Plymouth in the T-Chart.

  5. Compare & Contrast • Use the information in your T-Chart to create a Venn Diagram comparing and contrasting Jamestown & Plymouth.

  6. Geography and Maps • Why might two maps of the same place look different?
