  2. PLANET MERCURY

  3. Mercury • Mercury is 46.0 distance from the sun. And its 77.3 distance from the earth. • On the planet it has tiny amounts of helium 1000km above the earth surface. The planet surface planet is small and it’s close to the sun,it has a variety of craters, ridges and terrains. • The surface gravity is 3.7m. The temperature of the planet is 800degrees. • It has no moons and is the smallest planet in the solar system.

  4. More info about Mercury • The diameter for mercury is 4,878km. The time it takes for one rotation is12 days 58.65, revolution is 0.24. • To go from the sun to mercury is would take 65.2km/sec,and from space to mercury it would take 12.9km/hour.

  5. Venus

  6. Venus • The distances from the sun is about 109 million km away. • The distance from Earth is about 40 million km away. • The diameter is 12,104 km • It takes 243 days for one rotation. • Also takes .62 years for one revolution • Venus has no moons. • There are over 1600 major Volcanoes. • The temperature is more than 450 degrees.

  7. More Venus • The plant Venus looks like a bright star • The composition of the surface is Carbon dioxide and thick clouds of sulfuric acid • It would take sunlight 360 km/s to get to this plant. • If a space ship traveled 1000 km/h, then it would take 400,000 km/h to get to Earth. • The atmosphere is thick and hot.

  8. Earth

  9. Earth • Distance from the Sun is 149,600,000 km away • The diameter is 12,756.3 km • The time it takes for 1 rotation is 0.99 days • The time it takes for 1 revolution is 365.26 days • Earth only has one moon the name is moon

  10. Earth • The Earth crust is divided into separate solid plates • It would take sunlight 498.667 km/s if light traveled at 300,000 km/s • The atmosphere is mainly water • The composition of the surface is: N2, O2, Ar, CO2, Ne, He,

  11. Mars

  12. Info on Mars • Mars is 6800km from the sun. the distance from the earth is less than .5km. • It takes 1.03 days for one rotation, and it takes 1.88years for one revolution. • Rom the sun to the planet it would take 0.044 km/second to get to mars. Then if you were in the a spaceship and you traveled the mars it would take 2000km/hour.

  13. Mars atmosphere has lots of rocks and it is small. The surface of the planet has huge bulge on the Martian the surface is about 4000km across and 10km high. The most featured facted about mars is that mars crust is 80km thick in the southern hemisphere. The temperature of the planet is about 281k-55c,-67f. This planet has two moons. There names are Phobos and Deimos. An important detail about mars is that most rocks on the surface of the moon seems to be between 4.6 and 3 billion years old. More about mars

  14. Jupiter

  15. Planet Jupiter • The distance from the sun is 778,330,000km, and the distance from the earth is 4,046,600,000km. The diameter is 142,984. • It takes 0days, 9.925 hours. Form the sun it takes 259.443km/s, and from space it takes 4045600km/hours.

  16. Jupiter • The atmosphere is Jupiter is 90% hydrogen and 10% helium. The surface of the planet is solar nebula. • The planet has strips of brown gray, tan, orange and white. Jupiter's temperature is 43000 degrees. This planet has 44 moons and 16 sauternes. The name of some of the moons are Métis,Io,Europa,Aarastea,Cganumede,Amalthea,Callisto,Thebe,Leaa. • Planet Jupiter has a magnet force field.

  17. Saturn

  18. Saturn • The distance from the Sun is about 1,492,400,000 km • The distance from the Earth is about 1.2 billion km. • The diameter is 12,536 km • It takes 10h and 32- 47 min for one rotation. • It takes 29 ½ years for one revolution. • Saturn has at least 30 moons. • The name of some of the moons: Titan, Rhea , leptus, Dione, Mimas, Tethus, Encelcaus.

  19. More Saturn • Saturn has rings • The atmosphere is made of ices • The composition of the surface is: ~ 96% Hydrogen, ~ 3% Helium, ~ .4% Methane, ~.01% Hydrogen diuretic, .0007% Ethane • The temperature is about -218.47 degrees • It would take sunlight 4974.667 km/s to reach this planet • If a spaceship traveled at 1000 km/h, it would take 120,000 km/h to get to Earth.

  20. Planet Uranus

  21. Uranus is about 3 billon km from the sun. Its 2.57 billon km from the earth. Uranus is 51,488km in diameter. For one rotation it takes 0.72 days and for one revolution it takes 84 years. From the sun to Uranus it takes 1000km/sec, and in a spaceship it would take 25700000km/hour. Uranus

  22. Uranus’s atmosphere is covered with clouds, and the surface is methane. The temperature of Uranus is always cold. Uranus has 27 moons. The first moon is, Opnelia, Bianca, Cressida, Desdemona, Juliet, Portia,Rosalina, Belina, Puck, Miranda, Anel, Umbreiel, Titania, Oberan, Caliban. The planets interior is mace of ice. More detail

  23. Planet Neptune

  24. Neptune is 4,504,300,000 distance form the sun and it is 30.0611 distance from the earth. For one rotation it takes 0.67 days and for one revolution it takes 164,79 years. Form the sun it takes 1504.3 km per second to get to Neptune, and from a spaceship to Neptune in would take 0.0300611 km pre hour. Neptune

  25. Neptune's atmosphere has various ices and rocks with about 1 5% hydrogen and a little helium. The surface of Neptune has a faint and fragment ring system, which may have been detected during the 1960’s. Neptune is one of the coldest in the solar system, due to its greatest distance from the sun. The temperature of Neptune is –218 degrees Neptune has 13 moons ,Trion,Halimede,Naiad,Thalassa,Despina,Galatea, Larissa,Nereid,Sao,Laomedeia,Psamathe,Neso. The important thing about Neptune is it the strongest winds on any planet were measure on Neptune. More detail about Neptune
