  1. Questions about herbicides? It is good to be cautious about the safety and environemtal impact of herbicides. This is why KVM has pioneered the SafeSpray Service. Our SSS means that we promise to… • Never use a “Restricted Use Product” • Always use the lowest toxicity products feasible. Nearly every product that we use has a lower toxicity value than baking soda or table salt. Please look at the graph and remember that the higher the value the lower the toxicity. • Employ the best applicators in the business. All of our applicators speak English and can explain to you what they are spraying and what the results are.

  2. The higher the ld50 value, the less toxic a particular product is. Note that Metsulfuron, Imazapyr, Sulfometuron and Glyphosate are all less toxic than baking soda or table salt. This graph depicts ld50 values as determined and published by Auburn.
