The third grade play is on November 4th at 2 pm in the school auditorium. Parents and siblings are encouraged to come and support our amazing actors and actresses! The play is Elementary School Musical! The kids are all really excited to share their hard work with their friends and family, so please come. There will be refreshments afterwards in the lobby. We are about to begin our unit on Ancient Greece. In the next couple of weeks, ask your students what they have learned, especially about Greek government and its influence on the U.S. government. After our two weeks on Ancient Greece, we will be turning to a science unit on simple machines. Just as a heads up, on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, they will need to bring in an example of a simple or compound machine that they use on a regular basis. Don’t forget that the day before Thanksgiving is an early release day, and we’ll be done at 1pm. Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving! Warmest regards, Miss Eaton Superstar student of the month:HANNAH JOHNSON All of the students of Room 113 are talented and unique, but this month we would like to honor Hannah Johnson for her work on the third grade play.
